Ginger Cardamom Tea is one of the tea recipes we often make in our home. We love this tea in the evening with some light snacks. Though the combination of ginger and cardamom generates heat , it aids in digestion and a number of health benefits. There are many variations in tea making, one such variety is this ginger cardamom tea. I've already shared the recipe of masala tea in my previous post, which uses some spices. This tea is a refreshing and a healthy one. Today i'll share this simple and a tasty tea recipe.
Ingredients:
Milk - 1 cup
Water - 3 cups
Ginger - 11/2 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Tea powder - 3 tsps ( add according to your taste )
Sugar - 6 tsps ( add more sugar for more sweetness )
Method:
Get the ingredients ready for tea making
Heat water in a saucepan and add crushed ginger and cardamom
Once the flavours are infused, add the tea powder and let it boil for 5 mins
Add boiled milk
After 3 mins, once the tea is boiling remove from heat
Strain and add sugar
Serve hot with your favourite snacks

- Notes:
- Add ginger according to the spicyness you like
- Adjust sugar according to your taste
- Here i used full fat milk , so i added more water, if you are adding low fat milk reduce the water quantity
- Never reheat he tea directly on stove top, it'll spoil the taste
- If you want to reheat place the vessel containing tea on a boiling water
