Coconut
Milk Rice - an easy recipe with stepwise pictures. It is one of the tastiest and perfect recipe for lunch box. What i made
here is a plain coconut milk rice, usually this rice is made of tempering
spices, but i ain't use any such kind of spices or tempering. This is one of
the lazy people recipe the working part is extracting coconut milk &
grating some coconut for an extra flavour. You can eat as it is with a side
dish or You can have this with Kurma as this is a flavoured rice , you can use
this instead of plain rice for a change and for that extra flavor.
Coconut Milk Rice - With Stepwise Pictures
Ingredients:
Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
Rice - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup + 1/4 cup
Green Chilli - 3
Ginger - 1 tsp
Coconut oil - 1 tsp
Method:
Extract the coconut milk
Grate
the ginger
Add
rice, water, coconut milk, green chilli ,salt and coconut oil in a pressure
cooker
Fry
the grated coconut in a pan.
Fry until it turns slight brown, don't burn it, keep
aside
Once
the rice is cooked add this grated fried coconut & mix well.
Isn't that simple!
With Stepwise Pictures:
Extract the coconut milk
Grate the ginger
Add rice, water, coconut milk, green chilli ,salt and coconut oil in a pressure cooker
Fry the grated coconut in a pan.
Fry until it turns slight brown, don't burn it, keep aside
Once the rice is cooked gently fluff up the rice and add this grated fried coconut & mix well.
Isn't that simple!
