Rather than eating same dosa everyday try something new which is tasty and healthy. This recipe is simple to make , it can be made with simple ingredients which is available in our home. The soaking time is long otherwise it is easy to make. Have this recipe for mid evening tiffin , it'll be perfect.

Ingredients:
For Grinding:
Pacharisi (raw rice) - 1/2 cup
Puzhungal arisi (Par boiled rice) - 1/2 cup
Kadalai Paruppu ( Bengal gram ) - 1/4 cup
Gundu Ulundham paruppu ( Whole Urad dal ) - 1/4 cup
Thuvaram Paruppu ( Toor dal ) - 1/4 cup
Pasi Paruppu ( Split Moong dal ) - 1/4 cup
Fennel - 1 tsp
Red Chilli - 4 nos
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 2 pinches
Salt
Other Ingredients:
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Drumstick Leaves - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1
Salt
Oil
To Temper:
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp ( crushed )
Ginger - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Method:
Soak Rice, dal and red chilli for 1 hour
Grind the soaked ingredients to a coarse paste..(You can grind in a mixie also)
Add rock salt, fennel and turmeric powder at the time of grinding
Grind to idli batter consistency
Transfer the ground paste to a vessel
Take drumstick leaves,coconut,onion and ginger
In a kadai add oil and add the items given under "to temper".followed by onions and saute well
Add the fried items to the batter
Now add coconut and drumstick leaves to it
Mix well
Heat tawa and pour a ladle of batter ..make it like dosa, flip to the other side
