Easy Drumstick Curry|Murungakkai Kulambu - Full recipe with stepwise pictures and video. Drumstick can be used in many curries. But in this recipe, we'll use drumstick as the main ingredient and make curry with it. Drumstick contains loads of nutrients in it including high iron content. Drumstick can also be used to make soups, juice, roast etc., I'll upload the other recipes very soon. This is an easy recipe which can be made in minutes, it is a perfect solution for curries which can be made in a hurry. Let's get started.

Ingredients:
Drumstick/Murungakkai - 2
Onion - 2
Tomato - 2
Chilli powder - 1 Tsp
All purpose curry powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Water - 3 cups

To Grind:
Coconut - 1/4 cup

To temper:
Oil- 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1 Tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves -  spring

Method:
Heat oil in a kadai and temper the items given under "To temper"
Add the onions
Saute well
Add the tomatoes
Saute the tomatoes till it becomes juicy
Add turmeric powder
Chilli powder
All-purpose Curry Powder
Saute for a minute
Add the drumsticks
Add 3 cups of water
Let it boil well
Now the gravy has reached the boiling point and the oil has also seperated
Add the ground coconut
Boil for 3 -5 minutes
Remove from Flame
Serve hot with Rice

Add the ground coconut


Boil for 3 -5 minutes
Remove from Flame


Serve hot with Rice
