Ragi Malt - full recipe with stepwise pictures and video. Ragi recipes are healthy and are good for your health. This is a perfect alternative for tea and coffee. Drink this health drink every morning to get the whole nutrition for a day. Ragi Malt is a little bit different from ragi porridge. This recipe is added with nuts to enhance the flavor. Here I've used walnuts you can also use almonds and any other nuts. Let's get started

Ingredients:
Water - 1 cup
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 3-4 Tsp
Salt - a pinch
Ragi Malt Powder:
Ragi - 3 Tsp
Walnut - 3
Cashews - 6-8
Fried Channa dal/Pottukadalai - 1 tbsp
Method:
Fry the nuts separately
Set aside
Roast the rai separately until it gets heated..don't fry too long it will get burnt
Transfer the nuts, ragi along with cardamom to a mixie jar
Grind it to a fine powder
Set aside
Add 1 cup water in the saucepan
Add the round flour, mix well
Switch on the flame and cook for 2 minutes
Now add 2 cups of milk, sugar and mix well
Once the mixture turns glossy add a pinch of salt
Once the mixture boils and raw smell goes, remove from flame
Serve hot
