Jaggery Tea - Full recipe with stepwise Pictures and Video. Tea/Coffee is always the first thing everyone drink in the mornings. That too in winters. A cup of hot tea/coffee in the chill mornings of the winter. In India Jaggery is used in large quantity during winter season. Starting your winter day with Jaggery Tea gives a lot of energy. Another important benefit is using Jaggery instead of sugar is also good for your health. I never added Jaggery while the tea is boiling, because it wil get curdled easily. Ingredients:
Milk - 1/2 cup
Water - 1  1/2 cup
Ginger - 1 tsp grated
Tea powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Jaggery - 2 tbsp

Method:
Heat Water in a pan and let it boil
Add 1 tsp grated ginger while it's boiling
After 1 - 2 minutes add tea powder
Let it boil for 3 minutes
Now add milk and boil for 2 - 3 minutes
Once the tea boils remove from flame and filter
After filtering add 2 tbsp Jaggery
Mix well, if you think your Jaggery contains impurities filter it one more time
Serve hot

With Stepwise Pictures:
