Beach Style Masala Pasta|Indian Style Masala Pasta - Full recipe with stepwise pictures and video. Pasta is my all time favourite, you can make many variations wth this one simple ingredient. Though there are lot of varieties available my favourite is our Indian style Masala Pasta. This Masala Pasta is served at the beach on every weekend, i love this taste . For getting one plate of this Pasta we have to stand in a queue, me & my sister will wait & have this plate atleast once in a month. But due to the Virus outbreak we really missed this pasta so i tried this at home by asking the recipe to the shop owner & made it. Ingredients:For Cooking Pasta:
Water - 3 - 4 cups
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Pasta - 1.5 cups
For Pasta Masala:
Oil - 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 1
Cloves - 2
Cardamom - 2
Onion - 3/4 cip
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Tomato - 1 cup
Veggies - 1 cup [Potato,Carrot,Cabbage,Beans - each 1/4 cup]
Water - 1/3 cup
Tomato Sauce - 2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Spring Onions - for topping
Coriander leaves - for topping
Method:
- Add 3 cups Water in a Saucepan
- Add Salt
- Add 1 tsp Oil to avoid Pasta sticking to each other
- When the water is boiling add the Pasta
- Cook for 8 - 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes Pasta has cooked well. Don't Cook the pasta too soft or mushy. It should be thick and also cooked when you press with your hands.
- Strain the cooked pasta in a Colander
- Immediately add Cold water to avoil over cooking of pastas
- Heat 2 tbsp Oil in a kadai
- Add Fennel & Cumin seeds
- Add Cinnamon, Cardamom & Cloves & saute till it splutters
- Add 3/4 cup Onion finely chopped & saute till it turns glossy
- Add a tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste
- Add Salt as required & Saute well
- Once the Onion turns soft add 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder & 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- Saute & cook for 2 minutes or till raw smell goes
- Add 1 cup Choppe dtomatoes & sate till it turns soft & mushy
- Once the tomatoes turned soft add the veggies, cover & cook for 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes add 1/3 cup water, Saute , cover & cook for 3 more minutes
- After 3 minutes add 2 tsp Tomato Sauce
- Followed by 1 tsp Garam Masala & mix well
- After mixing immediately add cooked pasta, cover & cook for 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes pasta has blended well with the masala
- Sprinkle some Coriander leaves & Spring Onions
- Serve hot

Followed by 1 tsp Garam Masala & mix well
After mixing immediately add cooked pasta, cover & cook for 2 minutes
After 2 minutes pasta has blended well with the masala
Sprinkle some Coriander leaves & Spring Onions
Serve hot
