Cucumber Salad

Cucumber Salad - an easy recipe with stepwise pictures. Salads are a simple mouth watering recipe, which can be made in minutes and it also a healthy recipe.You can make any salad within 5 mins at home.  Veggies , when we eat it raw it is very good for our health. Whenever we think of salad the first ingredient that hits my mind is Cucumber. So i start with that, today i bought a big cucumber and i planned to make vellarikai kootu for blog, but due to my hectic schedule i can't do that. Instead i post a simple cucumber salad. Before that i'll share a little health benefits of eating salads that i've known.

Benefits of eating Salads:

  • You can get the whole vitamins , minerals, carotenoids, beta - carotene etc., from raw veggies than cooked veggies


Cucumber Salad - With Stepwise Pictures


Ingredients:

Cucumber - 1/2  from a big one / 1 small
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tsp chopped
Mint leaves - 1 tsp chopped
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 2 pinches
Sugar - 2 pinches

Method:


  1. Take a cucumber , i took 1/2 from a big one or you can take 1 whole cucumber if it is small
  2. Cut it into very thin slices
  3. In a bowl add lemon juice, pepper, salt , sugar and mix well
  4. To this mixture add the sliced cucumbers
  5. Mix well
  6. Serve. Isn't that simple.Try and let me know


With Stepwise Pictures:

Take a cucumber , i took 1/2 from a big one or you can take 1 whole cucumber if it is small


Cut it into very thin slices


In a bowl add lemon juice, pepper, salt , sugar and mix well


To this mixture add the sliced cucumbers


Mix well
