Aloo Bread Tikki|Potato Bread Cutlet - Full recipe with Video and Stepwise Pictures. Tikki is an all time favourite for me and it's also a perfect accompaniment for tea. This tikki is one of the easiest recipe to make. If you are a regular reader in my blo then you'll know that all my recipes are very simple to make. I always keep the beginners in mind and post the recipes. Because i'm also a beginner in cooking. Coming back to the tikki☺ You can make this tikki in 30 minutes. Let's move on to the recipe.

Ingredients:
Bread Slices - 3
Potato - 2
Frozen or Raw green peas - 1/4 cup
Crushed Ginger - 1/2 tsp
Crushed Garlic - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 2 medium
Bread Crumbs - 5 tbsp
Salt
Oil - required to fry the tikkis
For Maida-Cornflour dip:
Maida - 3 tbsp
Cornflour - 3 tbsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt
Method:
With Stepwise Pictures:
Boil 2 potatoes and 1/4 cup of peas and keep aside

Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp

Oil - required to fry the tikkis
For Maida-Cornflour dip:
Maida - 3 tbsp
Cornflour - 3 tbsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt
Method:
- Boil 2 potatoes and 1/4 cup of peas and keep aside
- Mix 3 tbsp corn flour, 3 tbsp maida in 1/2 cup of water
- Heat 1 tsp oil and add 1 tsp fennel seeds
- Add 2 chopped onions
- Saute well
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Fry till the raw smell goes and remove from flame
- Mash the potatoes and green peas
- Add the fried onion mixture to the mashed potato
- Salt
- Take a plate fill with water and dip the bread slices on one side and immediately flip it to the other side and squeeze the water completely...do this for 3 bread slices
- Add the squeezed bread slices to the otato mixture
- Mix well and form a dough
- Take small portions of dough and form into balls and make small patties
- Dip in the maida-corn flour mixture
- Finally coat with bread crumbs
- Make the remaining patties from the dough
- Heat 2 tsp oil and add the patties one by one
- After 2 mins flip to the other side
- Now the patties has cooked completely..remove from flame and serve hot with tea
With Stepwise Pictures:
Mix 3 tbsp corn flour, 3 tbsp maida in a bowl
Add 1/2 cup of water and mix well
Add 2 chopped onions
Saute well add 1/2 tsp crushed ginger, 1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala

Mash the potatoes and green peas
