Bread Balls

Bread Balls - Full recipe with stepwise Pictures and video. This recipe is another easy tea time snack. This can be made within an hour. My recipes are always simple and can be made with the ingredients available in our home. This is another such recipe. It was raining here, so I made this as a tea time snack. Let's get started.

Ingredients:
Bread Slices - depending on the size of the balls[ i got 12 balls ]
Potato - 3
Onion - 1
Green Chillies - 3
Garam Masala - 1/2 - 1 Tsp
Salt
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
BreadCrumbs - 1/2 cup
Oil - to deep fry
To Temper:
Oil - 2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds -1 tsp


Method:

  1. Heat a pan and add the items given under "to temper"
  2. Add the chopped onions and green chilies
  3. Saute till the onion turns soft
  4. Add the garam masala, salt, and ginger garlic paste 
  5. Saute well
  6. Add the boiled and crumbled potatoes
  7. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes
  8. Let the potato mixture comes to room temperature
  9. Then make small balls from the mixture
  10. Take a bread slice and dip in water for a second and squeeze out the water
  11. Place a potato ball in the bread and make a ball by covering the potato ball
  12. Finally, coat it with bread crumbs
  13. Deep fry in hot oil till it turns a golden brown color
  14. Take out and place it in news paper or butter paper to absorb the excess oil
  15. Serve hot with tea

With Stepwise Pictures:
Heat a pan and add the items given under "to temper"


Add the chopped onions and green chilies


Saute till the onion turns soft


Add the garam masala, salt, and ginger garlic paste
Saute well


Add the boiled and crumbled potatoes


Mix well and cook for 3 minutes


Let the potato mixture comes to room temperature
Then make small balls from the mixture


Take a bread slice and dip in water for a second and squeeze out the water


Place a potato ball in the bread and make a ball by covering the potato ball
Finally, coat it with bread crumbs


Deep fry in hot oil till it turns a golden brown color


Take out and place it in news paper or butter paper to absorb the excess oil


Serve hot with tea
