Sweet Maida Biscuit - full recipe with stepwise pictures and video. Sweet Maida Biscuits are always my favourite as they are perfect and quick recipe for your sudden sweet cravings. This sweet recipe is a must during diwali in our home. This recipe is also beginner friendly. During my school days my mom makes this biscuits and give it as a snack  But i don't get even a piece , my friends love this snack. And they often ask my mom to send biscuits everyday. Recipe Video:
Ingredients:
Maida - 2 cups
Sugar - 3/4 cup - 1 cup
Salt - a pinch
Unsalted Butter - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 - 3 tbsp
Oil - for deep frying

Method:
Add 2 cups maida in a bowl
Powder sugar in a blender
Add it to the Maida
Add 2 tbsp Butter
Add a pinch of salt
Mix well with your hands
The flour should hold shape if you hold it and if you break the holded flour it should break into pieces
The flour should be like puttu flour
Add 2 - 3 tbsp water and mix well to a smooth dough
Divide the dough into two
Roll like chapathi dough and cut like this
Transfer the cut pieces to a newspaper
Heat oil and add the pieces
Deep fry to golden colour
At first the biscuit is soggy when it is hot
Once it cools down it will be crispy and crunchier
Store in an airtight conatiner
