Chicken Roll - Full recipe with stepwise pictures and video. Chicken roll - one of my very very favourite snack of all time. As a great fan of chicken i love to do this recipe whenever guests arrive at my home, so that i can also get a bite😝. This recipe is surely a great treat for chicken fans. This  is  a popular street food across India, the street food version might be very spicy and the outer sheets will be hard to bite.  You can make this roll by spring roll sheets also but i made with maida egg batter to get a  soft bite and enjoy the rolls fully. Ingredients:
For the Filling:
Oil - 2 tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - few small pieces
Small onions - 10
Carrot - 1/4 cup finely sliced
Cabbage - 1/4 cup finely sliced
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Salt
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 3/4 tsp
Chicken pieces - 1/2 cup[boiled & shredded]
For the Outer roll:
Maida - 1 cup
Salt
Egg - 1
Water
For Making Chicken rolls:
Egg - 1
Breadcrumbs - 1 cup

Method:
For the filling:
Heat a kadai add 2 tsp oil followed by 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, few small cinnamon pieces
Saute for a minute
Add 10 small onions sliced finely
Once the onion turns soft add 1/4 cup finely sliced carrots & 1/4 cup finely sliced cabbage
Saute well
Add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
Once the raw smell goes, add salt, cover & cook for 5 minutes
After 5 minutes add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Add 1/2 tsp chilli powder
Add 3/4 tsp garam masala
Saute everything till the raw smell goes
Once the raw smell goes add 1/2 cup boiled & shredded chicken pieces
Saute well for few minutes
After 5 minutes everything has cooked well, remove from flame
For the outer roll:
In a bowl add 1 cup Maida
Add salt
Add 1 Egg...beat well
Add required water and mix the batter to flowing consisitency
Heat a tawa, Pour a cup of batter & cook for 2 minutes
After a minute , flip & cook for 30 seconds...Remove from flame
For making Chicken Rolls:
Place a tsp of chicken filling on the prepared roll
Roll the sides of the roll first & start to roll from the bottom
Seal tightly [you don't need anything to seal, it will seal by itself automatically]
Dip the prepared roll in beaten egg
Then roll in breadcrumbs
Add the preoared roll in hot oil & deep fry till it turns golden brown
Once it turns golden brown color...remove from flame and serve hot
